What: A three day biking adventure, “Tip to Tip for Africa 2009″ will follow the Confederation Trail on Prince Edward Island. All meals and accommodation for the three days and two nights are included as well as great Island entertainment!

Why: To raise funds for the Townships Project and Mikinduri Children of Hope.

When: Starting Saturday, October 10th at Tignish and ending Monday October 12th at Elmira.

Where: Buses will leave Charlottetown to take riders and their bikes to Tignish where the ride will start. It will finish at Elmira at about 2:30pm on Monday and riders will be bussed back to Charlottetown.

Who: Anyone and everyone over 18 (anyone under 18 must be accompanied by a parent or a guardian)

Cost: $200 non refundable, non tax receiptable registration fee (Covers your accommodation, meals and travel costs), plus $600.00 in tax receiptable donations to the Townships Project and Mikinduri Children of Hope.

If you are donating for a friend please look for the prompt to Donation in support of so that we can ensure that they get credit for your donation. Your supporter who uses PayPal will get a receipt from PayPal. Please ask them to email it to you too so that you can keep track. Amanda at Tip to Tip will also get a copy and have a record.

Prize for Top Team Fundraising: Cottage Weekend on PEI. Cozy, clean and very private cottage on PEI’s most popular fishing river. Cottage has three bedrooms and two lofts. Suitable to sleep at least eight adults. Contains modern conveniences including; television, microwave, shower, and large glass roofed deck.
